The long climb

Posted by

One of the many pathways leading from Main Road to Boyes Drive in a little seaside village called St James. Some of the pathways comprise just short of 400 steps!

Long climb and well-trodden . . it does have a certain call about it.

Fabulous. Is this Jacob's Ladder? I went to school just next to these stairs, so many memories for me.

@kiwisa: Hi Frances - I'm not 100% sure, but I do believe it is! The photo was taken some time ago and I named it Jacob's ladder at the time.
