In serious need of repair - i

Posted by dobbino (Cape Town, South Africa) on 28 September 2009 in Business & Industry.

Two weeks ago, Jacqui and I spent a few days up our West Coast. We had a really good break, but the weather (for the whole three days we were away) was not kind for photography - lots of cloud and rain. However, we found a real gem of a restaurant in a little town called Laaiplek, and this is a photo of the remains of the old pier, now the meeting place for a number of birds.
We had a magical lunch at the restaurant, with a superb view of the sea (and this pier). The rain started falling just as we were about to leave, but the meal was worth the mild soaking we got running to the car.
This was taken from the car park outside the restaurant, while the rain was falling, and through the car window.

All comments, and especially constructive criticism is truly appreciated. Thank you for taking the time.
