Sutherland trip i - WelcomePosted by dobbino (Cape Town, South Africa) on 20 July 2009 in Miscellaneous. The trip that Jacqui and I did last week was to a little town in the Northern Cape, called Sutherland. It is one of the coldest towns in South Africa, and is host to SALT (Southern African Largest Telescope). Over the next few days I will be posting photos of our trip, which will hopefully give you a feel for this unique and amazing part of South Africa. The photos will cover our trip there and back, and, of course, Sutherland and its surrounds. Hope you enjoy. All comments, and especially constructive criticism is truly appreciated. Thank you for taking the time. All images © Rob Minter, and licensed in terms of a Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 2.5 South Africa License
