The young ones - vi

At Roice's 21st party, there was a great mixture of the young in age, and the young at heart. The music man for the evening, Peter, was full of fun and provided some interesting and "call back the past" props for part of the evening's entertainment. Here we see him (on guitar), with Roice on bass, and Mom and Dad (with borrowed hair!) on washboard and tambourine respectively.
Because of the old musical instruments in the photo, I thought I would try this in sepia, and was quite happy with the end result.

@Ken: Hi Ken - thanks for your visit and comments. Had a look at your blog and you post some really great shots there. Problem for me is that I don't even have enough time to visit all the Am3 blogs I would like to, so visits outside of Am3 will be few and far between.

Great shot, and the sepia does work well here. A slight blurring or vignette, would have completed the "old" look to the shot.

@Graham Russon: Thanks Graham - yeah, I agree, but I hit a stumbling block here. I added some noise to the shot, also to add an extra touch of authenticity, and it did look the part. But it didn't look like one of my photos, so in the end decided on the "half-and-Half" option, so to speak.
