Well - maybe not, though the plastic snake has been working all day (in fact, never stops)! It is one of five that we keep at various spots on our balcony at the flat, and they really do help keep the rock pigeons away. The little house gecko is just one of a number that visit infrequently.
I had to manipulate him a bit to get him into the correct position, but please note that no geckos, house or otherwise, were harmed in the process of this photoshoot.

And while the photo has no real connection with it, the title was inspired by the song by Cat Stevens
