Flowers in our garden - a different view iv (final

Posted by dobbino (Cape Town, South Africa) on 3 April 2009 in Plant & Nature.

The final in the series, and another view of the hibiscus flower. The closest image posted before that relates to this post can be viewed here.
The beauty of having a macro lens! I see things that I never even knew existed, like the fine hairs on this hibiscus flower highlighted here.
I hope you have enjoyed this series as much as I have. For me it has been a really interesting exercise to see whether I have learned anything over the past year. Maybe some of the original images are nicer, or better, but they were basically snapshots that worked well, or reasonably well. This time around, a lot more thought and planning went into the photos, and for me that's encouraging and a small step forward. Thanks for sharing the experience with me.
I wish you all the most fabulous weekend.

All comments, and especially constructive criticism is truly appreciated. Thank you for taking the time.
