Just amazing

I am constantly amazed at how beautiful nature can be. This flower is from a dull, thorn-ridden cactus plant - one that normally looks quite uninteresting. Until it flowers - and then we are treated to this absolutely amazing flower, which doesn't have a long life span, but makes its mark while it spends its short time on earth with us.
