And the wheel turns

Also from the Durbanville Nature Reserve. Our national flower is the King Protea, and this particular species is called "Protea Suzannae". I thought it appropriate to post today, seeing that our national cricket team is called "The Proteas", and we have just completed series wins in both test cricket and one-day cricket over Australia, in Australia. Yesterdays photo was also from the Protea family, this time with the common name "Sugarbush", and symbolizes a time when we were dead and buried in the cricket world, and when Oz reigned supreme. But the wheel turns - and will turn again, hopefully now a bit more slowly!
