Happy New Year

New Year Day 2009! And my 200th image!

To all you wonderful folk at Am3 - I wish you the most fantastic year - may it be your best ever. BTW, the background here is from our fibre optic Christmas tree. Now for some wishes that I really think our world should take heed of:

I posted this earlier in the day, but have just taken a break from sitting outside on our balcony watching the Old Year's Night sky. We have an absolutely perfect evening to finish off 2008 with - the most gentle of breezes, and skies with just a hint of clouds to add some extra magic. I trust you have had an evening that is as precious, wherever you may be.

My friend, I think that too much of our great red wine in celebration has dulled your creativity a little bit. I expected to see maybe a photo of a clock slowly switching from 24:00 to 00.00.01 or something like that, but at this time of the year, who can blame you? Your description of sitting in the gentle night breeze sounds delightful ... here, it was a cold, clear night but beautiful nonetheless ... the first day of the year has dawned with bright, blue skies and the prospect of warmer breezes before day's end!
