Reaching out

Posted by dobbino (Cape Town, South Africa) on 16 October 2008 in Transportation and Portfolio.

Firstly I would like to let you know that yesterday I had the use of my new laptop screen for the first time, and the colour calibration was right off. So looking back, the photo posted yesterday did not quite look like I wanted it to.
Hopefully now the screen has been sorted out, and you will see what I hope you will see.
This shot was taken standing right at the front of the ship, with Table Mountain and Signal Hill in view. The jibs and bowsprit (at least I think that is the description) have the figurehead posted yesterday immediately underneath, and really look to me like they are reaching out to embrace everything in front of them.
Title from the song by the Bee Gees

All comments, and especially constructive criticism is truly appreciated. Thank you for taking the time.
