Neverending story

Ok - a bit of an indulgence - this is not the most artistic of shots, it's just to celebrate the fact that we have actually had a few days of Spring. I love the colour - and there is just a never-ending story of the red filaments that seem to explode out of the centre of the flower.

Ahhhh... one of my fave flowers... miss them back in Australia (my homeland)... though I live in the US now and they are here too... it just isn't the same and not in the right settings.. great shot and colour..
