August 2008 Day Trip viii - Reward?

Going after yesterday's shot seemed simple enough, until I stepped into the innocent-looking dip between the road and the flowers. The photo unfortunately does not adequately depict the feeling of that wet foot on a sunny but cold day! But it was worth it in the end. Caused my wife to break into derisive laughter, and meant driving home with bare feet! Only blessing was that it happened after and not before the meal!
