August 2008 Day Trip i

Posted by dobbino (Cape Town, South Africa) on 28 August 2008 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio.

Our home renovations meant that last month's day trip had to be forfeited. Today almost didn't happen as well, as we have had rain and clouds for the past few days, and tomorrow they are back again with a vengeance. But swapping char days with a friend meant that we were able to go out today on an absolutely stunning clear and bright winter's day. I am going to share our trip with everyone over the next nine or ten days.
We started off just after nine and left Durbanville for Malmesbury. Along the way is a farm that have a number of zebra in the grounds. I hadn't planned to stop to photograph them, but when we saw this fella resting among the wild flowers, just had to stop and shoot.

All comments, and especially constructive criticism is truly appreciated. Thank you for taking the time.
