Eugenia

Posted by dobbino (Cape Town, South Africa) on 5 March 2008 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio.

While in my garden this morning I noticed this small area of one of my Eugenia trees where the sunlight had broken through and was lighting up one of the flower clusters. Got to make you smile - even if your heart is aching!

A beautiful blossom, and it does make me smile. I don't know that Eugenia trees are native to my part of the world. Great capture of that morning light! You mentioned in your post on my blog this morning about the diverse mix of shots I'm getting with the one lens…well, at the moment it's the only lens I own. I just bought the camera in January and I'm shooting at anything that moves or doesn't move for that matter. I'm enjoying the experience of life more now that I'm consciously looking for the beauty and points of interest around me. I'm also enjoying this Am3 community…it's very nice to interact with people from all over the world…like Cape Town, South Africa! Thanks for your kind words … and thanks for the smile!
